Big Bass 3in1
Big Bass 3in1 bundles three light fishing minigames into one app, and honestly it works better than that description sounds. Each mode has its own rhythm — one is about timing your cast, another about reeling steadily, the third about spotting where the fish are hiding along the shore. Switching between them keeps a short session from feeling repetitive.
Controls are the strong point. You tap to cast, hold and release to reel, and a small tension bar tells you when to ease off. It reads well even one-handed on the bus, and the haptic buzz when something bites is a nice touch. Sessions are short by design, so it's easy to pick up for five minutes.
What surprised me was how calming the whole thing is. The water animation is smooth, the sound design is quiet and pleasant, and there's no timer breathing down your neck. It's not a deep game, but as a wind-down app it earned a spot on my home screen for a while.
What we liked
- Three distinct modes in one small app
- Clean one-handed controls with good haptics
- Genuinely relaxing pacing, no pressure
